Who is the program for?

The MedSpanish program is for physicians, residents, nurses, advanced practice providers, medical students from MS1 to MS4, and pre-professionals preparing for healthcare careers.

What does the MedSpanish program consist of?

The program combines online medical Spanish courses—where you can earn CME credits—with optional on-site experiences in Mexico, including language study, clinical rotations, and global health opportunities.

How long will I have access to the online modules?

You will have access to the MedSpanish online modules for 12 months from the date of enrollment. Access to content is guaranteed for that time, but the award of CME credits will depend on your progress and completion of the required modules.

Can I earn CME credits with the MedSpanish program?

Yes. By completing the online modules, healthcare professionals are eligible to receive up to 100 AMA CME Category 1 Credits™ through the University of New Mexico. Attendance at the on-site program is not required, as those experiences are optional for participants seeking deeper immersion.

Can I get one-on-one tutoring or mentoring?

Yes. Upon request, we offer TeleMentoring sessions tailored to your schedule, specialty, and learning style.
